## About the Role

This role sits within a Finance and Performance Management function in a large group, where the team is responsible for overseeing business activities and resources. Working closely with the platform’s planning reference point, the consultant will take ownership of budget tracking for a business area and its products.

The position is focused on supporting managers in decisions related to project portfolio oversight. It combines budget monitoring, financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder support to improve visibility and help ensure the reliability of management information.

## Key Responsibilities

– Track the budget for the assigned business area and its products.
– Collect, consolidate, and analyse monthly data used for activity monitoring.
– Monitor spend, forecasts, variances, and financial indicators.
– Contribute to the follow-up and control of the project and activity portfolio.
– Produce and update dashboards and management reports.
– Support managers and team leads in analysing data and making decisions.
– Ensure the accuracy and consistency of management information.
– Prepare presentation materials and reporting packs.

## Required Skills

– Experience in PMO, budget management, or IT management control.
– Strong background in financial tracking and project portfolio oversight.
– Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables.
– Knowledge of Power Query.
– Strong PowerPoint skills.
– Familiarity with a project or portfolio management tool such as Clarity PPM.
– Ability to review and use Power BI reports.
– Strong analytical, synthesis, and communication skills.
– Rigour, autonomy, and ease in discussions with managerial stakeholders.
– Significant experience in budget tracking and project portfolio monitoring.
– Experience gained in an IT department or a large enterprise environment is preferred for the target profile.
