## About the Role
This Senior FinOps Engineer role sits within a FinOps team responsible for supporting financial operations for cloud infrastructure. The position is focused on designing and implementing processes that support FinOps practice across the FinOps Foundation framework’s three phases: Inform, Optimize, and Operate.
The work is centered on Azure cloud environments, including data components, with reporting support through Power BI. The role is part of a hybrid project based in Oeiras, with 1 to 2 days per week on-site.
## Key Responsibilities
– Support financial operations for cloud infrastructure within a FinOps team
– Design and implement processes aligned with the FinOps Foundation framework
– Apply FinOps practices across the Inform, Optimize, and Operate phases
– Work with Azure cloud environments, including data components
– Support reporting activities using Power BI
## Required Skills
– 4+ years of experience implementing and operating the FinOps Foundation framework
– Experience designing and implementing processes across the Inform, Optimize, and Operate phases
– 6+ years of experience implementing and operating Azure cloud infrastructure, including data components
– Strong knowledge of Power BI reporting
– FinOps Certified Engineer certification
– AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate certification
## Preferred Skills
– AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect certification
– Knowledge of Oracle Cloud (OCI)
