What will your job look like?
Lead FinOps strategy and execution for AWS and multi-cloud environments.
Analyze monthly cloud spend, identify trends, and implement cost optimization initiatives.
Partner with business units, finance teams, and technical stakeholders to align cloud usage with budgetary goals.
Develop business cases for Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and cost avoidance strategies.
Monitor cloud consumption, detect anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
Provide executive-level reporting on cloud financial health and optimization progress.
Drive adoption of FinOps best practices and tools across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement and manage FinOps frameworks for AWS (and optionally Azure/GCP) End to end.
Perform detailed cost analysis using AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, and third-party FinOps tools.
Recommend RI/Savings Plan purchases and validate ROI.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize resource utilization.
Establish governance policies for tagging, budgeting, and forecasting.
Conduct Monthly reviews with stakeholders on cost trends and optimization opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications
BE -Bachelor’s in computer, IT, or related field; Master’s preferred.
10–12 years overall IT experience, with 5+ years in FinOps and cloud cost management.
Strong knowledge of AWS services, pricing models, and billing tools.
Hands-on experience handing the FinOps activity E2E and need to take it closer
Hands-on experience with AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, and RI/Savings Plan strategies.
Familiarity with Azure and GCP cost management (added advantage).
Data-driven decision-making and strong financial modeling capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Cloud Practitioner
FinOps Certified Practitioner
Azure or GCP certifications (optional but desirable)
