## About the Role

Scry AI is hiring a remote FinOps Manager to oversee cloud financial operations across its enterprise AI platforms. The role exists to improve cloud spending efficiency, strengthen financial accountability, and align infrastructure decisions with business goals.

You will partner closely with engineering, DevOps, finance, and leadership teams to improve cost visibility, governance, and forecasting. The position focuses on helping the business scale cloud resources responsibly while maintaining operational efficiency.

## Key Responsibilities

– Monitor cloud infrastructure spend across platforms and identify opportunities to reduce waste
– Improve cloud resource utilization without affecting performance
– Build and maintain cloud budgets, forecasts, and spending models
– Track actual spend against budget and explain variances
– Support financial planning for infrastructure growth and scaling
– Create cloud governance policies and cost management frameworks
– Ensure accurate cost allocation, tagging, and chargeback practices
– Promote financial accountability across engineering teams
– Prepare reports and dashboards on cloud usage, spend, and optimization opportunities
– Deliver actionable insights to support strategic decisions
– Promote FinOps principles and best practices
– Continuously improve cloud financial management processes and workflows
– Stay current on cloud pricing models and optimization approaches

## Required Skills

– Strong experience in FinOps, cloud financial management, cloud operations, or IT finance roles
– Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
– Experience with cloud cost management, budgeting, and forecasting
– Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
– Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and reporting tools
