## About the Role
This position sits within Ignitis Group’s Service Center IT team and focuses on cloud cost optimization, FinOps process development, and the use of AI to improve operational efficiency. The team supports the group’s day-to-day operations and contributes to broader energy transformation through effective management of technology resources.
The role combines financial oversight, cloud infrastructure knowledge, and modern AI capabilities to improve efficiency and deliver measurable business value. You will work closely with IT, finance, and business teams on reporting, automation, and the evaluation of AI-enabled solutions.
## Key Responsibilities
– Analyze and optimize cloud costs across Oracle, Azure, and Google Cloud.
– Develop and maintain FinOps processes, budgets, and cost-control mechanisms.
– Prepare financial and technical reports for management.
– Identify automation opportunities using AI and generative AI solutions.
– Build, test, and deploy AI models and integrations for business processes.
– Evaluate the ROI and business value of AI solutions.
– Collaborate with IT, finance, and business stakeholders.
– Support data security, compliance, and responsible AI use.
## Required Skills
– At least 2 years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, Data Analytics, or AI.
– Hands-on experience with at least one of the following platforms: Oracle, Azure, or Google Cloud.
– Ability to analyze financial data and recommend cost optimization actions.
– Experience using Python for data analysis and automation.
– SQL knowledge and the ability to work with large data sets.
– Understanding of generative AI technologies and LLMs.
– English language skills at B2 level or higher.
## Preferred Skills
– FinOps Certified Practitioner or FinOps Professional certification.
– Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or other AI platforms.
– Experience building RAG solutions.
– Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD processes.
– Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
– Cloud architecture certifications.

## FinOps Responsibilities
– Monitor and optimize cloud spend across Oracle, Azure, and Google Cloud.
– Build and maintain FinOps processes, budgets, and cost-control mechanisms.
– Produce financial and technical reporting for management.
– Improve cloud cost visibility and resource efficiency.
– Support cost optimization recommendations based on financial analysis.

– Base salary range: EUR 2,520-3,780 gross per month; variable pay may also be available.
