## About the Role
This role focuses on monitoring cloud-related costs, identifying savings opportunities, and supporting financial governance across cloud environments. It is designed to improve visibility and control over consumption, budgets, and performance indicators.
The position works closely with IT and Finance teams, and also supports business stakeholders in forecasting and managing cloud spend. In addition, it covers the administration and optimisation of Microsoft contracts and licences.
A further part of the role is contributing to the ongoing improvement of cost management tools and processes, while helping teams adopt FinOps best practices.
## Key Responsibilities
– Track and analyse costs across cloud environments.
– Identify and implement cloud spend optimisation measures.
– Support financial governance best practices.
– Monitor budgets, consumption, and key performance indicators.
– Administer and optimise Microsoft contracts and licences.
– Produce reports and dashboards for IT and Finance teams.
– Support business teams in controlling and forecasting cloud expenditure.
– Promote FinOps best practices across teams.
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of cost management tools and processes.
## Required Skills
– Degree in IT, management, or finance.
– Experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, or IT Financial Management.
– Experience working in public cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
– Strong understanding of cloud consumption models and cost optimisation challenges.
– Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including use of Power BI or equivalent tools.
– Fluent English.
## Preferred Skills
– Knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Enterprise Agreement, and licensing.
