The Role
Manage cost control, optimisation, and visibility across a substantial AWS environment
Partner with Finance, Technology, and Delivery teams to ensure intentional and well-forecasted cloud spend
Cost new products and enhancements, tracking delivery spend against forecasts
Clearly communicate financial impact and return on investment (ROI)
Promote a proactive, cost-aware culture within engineering squads
Produce clear, monthly cost reporting by dissecting detailed AWS usage and allocating OPEX by team
What You’ll Need
Strong, hands-on experience with AWS services, pricing models, and cost optimisation
Proven experience in FinOps, cloud financial management, or a DevOps role with cost accountability
Excellent analytical skills to translate complex cost data into clear insights
A proactive, self-starter approach with confidence to engage and challenge stakeholders remotely
Experience working closely with project and engineering teams to manage budgets, forecasting, and ROI
