Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Executive to manage FinOps and Reconciliation activities, ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency. This role involves overseeing financial operations, reconciling accounts, and optimizing financial processes to support business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of financial operations, including transaction processing, reporting, and analysis.
Oversee and execute comprehensive reconciliation processes for various accounts, including bank, general ledger, intercompany, and subsidiary ledgers.
Identify and investigate discrepancies in financial records, working with relevant departments to resolve issues promptly.
Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Streamline and optimize FinOps processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve turnaround times.
Prepare and present accurate financial reports and analyses to management, highlighting key trends and insights.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., accounting, finance, operations) to ensure seamless integration of financial processes.
Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to financial operations and reconciliation.
Manage and mentor a team of reconciliation specialists, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial operations, reconciliation, or a similar role.
Proven experience in managing and optimizing financial processes.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in managing a team.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
