## About the Role
This senior FinOps Specialist role sits within Managed Services and focuses on governance and cost optimization across multicloud environments. The purpose of the position is to improve financial predictability, cost transparency, and ongoing cloud efficiency, while acting as the technical reference point and helping strengthen FinOps practices with the client.
The role partners with stakeholders and leadership to manage cloud budgets, support executive reporting, and drive automation and optimization efforts. It is a CLT position based in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, or Pernambuco, with working hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and a hybrid work model.
## Key Responsibilities
– Govern cloud costs across multicloud environments, ensuring control, predictability, and visibility.
– Partner with stakeholders to manage cloud budgets and improve cost transparency.
– Lead optimization initiatives across rightsizing, savings plans, Spot instances, automation, and restructuring.
– Monitor cost anomalies and create proactive alerts to help avoid budget deviations.
– Prepare executive reports and showback/chargeback views for leadership.
– Build dashboards and automate FinOps processes to improve operational efficiency.
– Act as a technical reference and support the adoption of FinOps through training and guidance.

– Proven experience identifying and implementing cloud cost optimization.
**Mandatory Certifications**
– FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP)
– Cloud Associate certification (AWS or Azure)
## Preferred Skills
– Cloud Professional certification (AWS or Azure).
– Knowledge of cloud infrastructure architecture.
– Experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
– Experience with containers and Kubernetes, including Kubecost and OpenCost.
– Experience building cloud environments.
– Experience in Managed Services and supporting multiple clients.
– FinOps Certified Engineer.
