## About the Role
This position is focused on financial control and planning for construction projects in progress. The role supports the accuracy of financial information related to each job, helping ensure costs, revenue, margins, and cash flow are tracked and understood throughout the lifecycle of the works.
The person in this role will work closely with engineers responsible for the projects, connecting financial planning with field execution. The goal is to strengthen decision-making through reliable reporting, budget monitoring, variance analysis, and preventive financial follow-up.
The role also contributes to the maintenance of dashboards, KPIs, and financial controls across individual projects and consolidated results. It is suited to someone who can manage multiple interfaces, work with operational and financial data, and help maintain compliance with internal processes and controls.
## Key Responsibilities
– Monitor and control project costs, revenue, and margins to ensure financial accuracy.
– Partner with engineers responsible for the works to align financial tracking with project execution.
– Prepare and analyze financial statements and performance reports by project.
– Build forecasts, variance analyses, and financial simulations.
– Support the development and updating of financial plans, cash flow, and accounting and management DRE reports.
– Create, update, and validate operational dashboards and project KPIs.
– Perform internal audits of financial and operational processes and recommend improvements.
– Maintain the integrity of financial data in the ERP, spreadsheets, and control systems.
– Track and update key metrics such as project margin, cost per square meter, and cash flow.
– Reconcile management results with accounting results for each project and on a consolidated basis.
## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
– Previous experience in Controllership or financial planning for construction projects, especially in the construction sector.
– Experience with cost control on works, variance analysis, and budget tracking.
– Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, and financial projections.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple areas at the same time.
– Ability to monitor and forecast project cash flow proactively to prevent deviations and financial bottlenecks.
