Cloud Team Manager
to lead a multi-cloud operations team and ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of critical cloud services across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This is a highly hands-on leadership role, ideal for professionals who thrive in operational environments and enjoy leading high-performing technical teams.
You will serve as a primary escalation point for complex cloud incidents, oversee infrastructure deployments, and collaborate closely with development and IT teams to support business-critical systems.

Salary Range:
USD $4,800 – $6,200 per month

Initial 3–6 month contract, with potential for full-time hire

Responsibilities
Lead and manage a
20-person multi-cloud operations team
supporting AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of cloud infrastructure and services.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex incidents and operational issues.
Oversee cloud operations, infrastructure deployments, governance, and compliance.
Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely and reliable infrastructure and application deployments.
Establish and maintain operational best practices, monitoring, and incident response procedures.
Provide clear communication and reporting to internal teams and global stakeholders.
Coordinate coverage aligned with U.S. business hours.
Requirements
Proven experience managing cloud operations teams in production environments.
Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud experience is a strong advantage).
Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and deployment practices.
Experience handling critical incidents, root cause analysis, and service recovery.
Ability to lead technical teams in fast-paced, high-availability environments.
Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
Nice to Have
Experience managing large, distributed, or global teams.
Exposure to DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
Background in cost optimization and cloud financial management (FinOps).
Experience working with enterprise clients and large-scale systems.
