## About the Role
We are seeking a Mid-Level FinOps Analyst to join the Cloud Governance and Efficiency team. This role sits at the intersection of Technology, Finance, and Business, with responsibility for improving financial management across cloud environments.
The main objective is to support operational efficiency, cost optimization, and financial predictability in a multi-cloud environment. The position also contributes to increasing the organization’s FinOps maturity through governance, automation, observability, and continuous optimization.
The role works closely with architects, SREs, engineering teams, and stakeholders from technical, financial, and executive areas.
## Key Responsibilities
– Monitor cloud costs across multi-cloud environments.
– Identify usage deviations, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
– Build cost, consumption, trend, budget, and forecast analyses to support decision-making.
– Support cloud budget planning and forecast tracking.
– Find and track savings opportunities through rightsizing, idle resource reduction, scheduled shutdowns, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and storage/network optimization.
– Track cost avoidance and cost savings indicators.
– Define, implement, and maintain financial governance policies for cloud environments.
– Create and audit tagging strategies for accurate cost allocation.
– Support chargeback and showback processes across products, projects, and business areas.
– Define KPIs to track FinOps maturity.
– Build executive and operational dashboards for cloud cost monitoring.
– Develop financial indicators for executive, technology, and business audiences.
– Produce recurring reports on consumption, budget, optimization, and financial forecasts.
– Promote FinOps best practices with technical teams.
– Support architects, SREs, and engineering teams in building financially efficient solutions.
– Use observability tools to identify infrastructure optimization opportunities.
– Correlate technical metrics with financial impact.
– Support automation initiatives focused on operational efficiency.
## Required Skills
– Solid experience in FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, or cloud cost management.
– Knowledge of multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
– Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and financial governance strategies.
– Strong analytical ability to interpret financial and technical indicators.
– Excellent communication skills for interaction with technical, financial, and executive audiences.
– Analytical, data-driven profile.
