## About the Role
A prominent international investment bank is hiring a Vice President for its FP&A team, with a focus on information technology expense management and cost allocation. This newly created position exists to support the organization’s growth and strengthen financial planning, reporting, and allocation processes across the IT function.
The role will work closely with IT leadership, service owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve budgeting and forecasting accuracy, enhance financial transparency, and support internal service agreement administration. It also involves maintaining allocation models, service documentation, and reporting processes that help ensure accurate expense recovery and consistent financial oversight.
This is a hybrid position based in Midtown Manhattan, with an expectation of 2 or 3 days per week in the office.
## Key Responsibilities
– Support FP&A activities for IT leadership, with emphasis on expense management, cost transparency, and financial reporting
– Improve budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to strengthen planning accuracy and operational efficiency
– Administer internal service agreements and intercompany cost-sharing arrangements
– Analyze cost allocation methods and financial models to validate allocation accuracy and assess budget impacts
– Coordinate intercompany financial transactions and reconcile allocated expenses within internal financial systems
– Develop recurring and ad hoc reporting on IT spend, resource usage, and internal cost recovery
– Refine chargeback and allocation methodologies to improve data integrity and support automation
– Partner with IT service owners and stakeholders to define service expectations and maintain alignment with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
– Monitor service-level performance, identify gaps, and support remediation efforts
– Maintain service agreement documentation and help resolve allocation or service-related discrepancies
– Support financial reporting requirements and process improvements across the IT organization
– Assist with operational coordination, system configuration, time reporting, and related team support activities

## Benefits
– Base salary of $150,000 to $180,000
