## About the Role
This Finance Manager role supports the CFO – Technology and Group Finance with executive reporting, financial analysis and decision support for a global Technology function.
The role covers Technology budgeting, forecasting, governance, cost analysis and business partnering across cloud, software, infrastructure, people and projects. It also supports Technology initiatives, including AI investments, through business cases, resource planning, labour tracking and capitalization analysis.
You will work with Technology leadership, Group Finance, Product, Engineering, Technology Operations, People, Tax and business unit finance teams. A key focus is using AI tools and automation to improve reporting, analysis, cost transparency, controls and finance processes.
## Key Responsibilities
– Prepare CFO – Technology reporting covering costs, forecasts, variance analysis, risks, opportunities and recommendations.
– Support financial governance, approval requirements, Group policies, financial controls and audit expectations.
– Respond to audit requests involving IT asset capitalization, project documentation, expense classification, impairment analysis and supporting evidence.
– Support management of the global Technology budget across cloud, software, infrastructure, people and projects.
– Analyze cloud, software development, maintenance, vendor and infrastructure costs to identify trends, cost drivers and optimization opportunities.
– Support business cases, resource planning, labour tracking, capitalization treatment and financial analysis for Technology initiatives, including AI investments.
– Partner with Technology, Finance and business stakeholders to align expenditure with priorities, transformation objectives and approved budgets.
– Coordinate with cross-functional and regional teams to provide insight into Technology-related costs.
– Support chargeback or show-back analysis, vendor cost management, renewal tracking and KPI reporting.
– Prepare concise financial summaries, analysis and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
– Build, test and improve AI tools, prompts, agents and automated workflows for reporting, analysis, documentation, controls and data workflows.
– Translate financial and operational data into practical recommendations for senior decision-making.
## Required Skills
– Experience in finance analysis, commercial finance or finance business partnering.
– Strong analytical skills, including Excel modelling, large-data analysis and interpretation of business drivers.
– Experience preparing management reporting for senior stakeholders, including cost summaries, variance analysis, risks, opportunities and recommendations.
– Strong PowerPoint skills for producing structured and visually clear reporting packs and presentations.
– Practical capability and strong interest in using AI tools, prompts, agents and automated workflows to improve reporting, analysis, productivity and insight generation.
– Ability to connect Technology activity, financial data and business outcomes.
– Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain financial, analytical, system and AI concepts to finance and non-finance audiences.
– Structured, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
– Proactive, accountable and able to make sound decisions with incomplete information where necessary.
– Collaborative approach to working with varied stakeholders, managing conflict respectfully and developing practical solutions.
## Preferred Skills
– Three to six years of relevant experience, ideally in Technology, Group functions or transformation environments.
– Academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
– Experience with cloud cost management, FinOps reporting tools or Technology cost allocation models.
– Experience working across regions and with distributed teams.
– Exposure to CFO-, investor-, board- or executive-level reporting environments.

– Support chargeback or show-back analysis and Technology cost allocation.
– Track vendor renewals and report Technology cost KPIs.
– Improve cost transparency through reporting, controls, documentation and automated workflows.
– Link Technology expenditure to business priorities, transformation objectives and business value.
