# About the Role

This is a Finance Transformation role within EY Consulting’s Business Consulting practice, based in Bangalore or Mumbai. The position is open at Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Manager levels.

The team supports Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications clients as they improve finance processes, redesign operating models, and strengthen reporting and performance management. The role works closely with CFOs, Controllers, FP&A leaders, and Finance Shared Services teams.

The main objective is to help clients modernize finance functions through process improvement, digital enablement, analytics, and transformation roadmaps that deliver measurable value.

# Key Responsibilities

– Lead and support finance transformation engagements across P2P, R2R, OTC, and FP&A.
– Assess current-state processes, diagnose issues, benchmark performance, and evaluate maturity.
– Design future-state finance operating models, shared services/GBS models, governance structures, SLAs, and KPI frameworks.
– Identify process improvement and automation opportunities across finance operations.
– Build business cases, value realization plans, and transformation roadmaps.
– Support ERP, EPM, reporting, analytics, and finance automation implementations.
– Translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions and recommend digital finance tools and platforms.
– Design management reporting frameworks, dashboards, KPI reporting, and finance analytics solutions.
– Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management initiatives.
– Prepare executive presentations, assessments, recommendations, and transformation roadmaps.
– Contribute to business development, proposals, thought leadership, capability building, and knowledge management.

# Required Skills

– Hands-on experience across at least two finance process areas: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (OTC), and preferably Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
– Exposure to ERP, EPM, reporting, analytics, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.

– Experience in one or more of the following areas: Finance Transformation, Digital Finance, Shared Services/GBS Transformation, Finance Process Improvement, Performance Management, Finance Operating Model Design, Business Process Consulting, Finance Technology Enablement.
– CA or MBA from a reputed Tier 1 or Tier 2 Business School.
– Strong academic record throughout education.
