## About the Role
This role sits within the Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Finance team and supports budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis across expense categories. Reporting to the AWM Chief Financial Officer, it helps provide leadership with timely insight into financial performance, expense trends, and key drivers.
The position partners with senior management, business stakeholders, and teams inside and outside the division. Its focus is on strengthening reporting quality, improving data controls, and supporting initiatives that affect division growth, profitability, efficiency, and cost discipline.
## Key Responsibilities
– Support budgeting and forecasting, including analysis of actuals versus budget across expense categories.
– Prepare materials for stakeholder reviews and explain trends, drivers, and variances.
– Produce daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reporting.
– Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for key metrics across business segments.
– Develop financial models for projections, scenario analysis, and expense-to-revenue assessments.
– Support expense management, efficiency, and cost control initiatives.
– Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data, including governance and control processes.
– Deliver reporting and analysis accurately and on schedule in line with reporting calendars.
– Identify and help implement process improvements and automation.
– Perform recurring and ad hoc analysis for senior management and business initiatives.
– Maintain effective working relationships across the division and with external partners.
## Preferred Skills
– 4–6 years of finance experience in the FPA domain; CA or MBA preferred.
– Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS PowerPoint.
– Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, and Qliksense.
– Experience handling large volumes of data and analysis.
– Clear verbal and written communication skills; global experience is an advantage.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills with a track record of delivering against commitments.
– Willingness to challenge existing practices and suggest improved ways of working.
– Ability to work well in a team environment and with colleagues at all levels.
