# About the Role
Mareana builds AI-powered data platforms for life sciences and advanced manufacturing. This role supports complex enterprise sales where each contract is high-value and long-term, so commercial execution needs to be accurate and controlled.
You will work across Sales, Legal, Delivery, and Finance to manage the contracting process, deal desk activity, commissions, and bookings reporting. The same data will also support forecasting and management reporting.
This is a hybrid revenue operations and commercial finance position. You will be the person who can connect bookings to revenue, margin, and cash, and you will report to the Senior Director of Finance with visibility to the CFO and leadership team.
# Key Responsibilities
– Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, NDAs, and SOWs with Legal and Sales.
– Manage contract redlines, internal approvals, renewals, amendments, terminations, and the contract repository.
– Prepare order forms and pricing schedules, and track obligations, milestones, and key dates.
– Design the annual sales commission plan with Finance and Sales leadership.
– Run monthly commission calculations, administration, reconciliation, and dispute resolution.
– Support the deal desk with pricing approvals, non-standard terms, exception handling, and margin analysis before and after signature.
– Track bookings (TCV / ACV) by rep, segment, and product line.
– Own quote-to-cash and order processing with Billing and Delivery.
– Build and maintain sales dashboards and reporting for pipeline, KPIs, and win/loss.
– Administer the CRM and maintain data quality as the commercial system of record.
– Track renewals and upsell / expansion opportunities.
– Support rolling revenue forecasts using pipeline-weighted and probability-adjusted models.
– Maintain ARR and bookings reporting and reconcile it to the P&L.
– Prepare commercial inputs for monthly management reporting and board materials.
– Perform variance analysis on bookings, revenue, and sales cost against plan.
– Support revenue recognition for subscription and services contracts.
– Model commission and pricing scenarios and their impact on the P&L.
# Required Skills
– 5–7 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, commercial finance, or business finance, ideally in enterprise B2B SaaS or technology services.
– Direct ownership of at least one full commission cycle and one bookings / ARR reporting cycle.
– Strong CRM experience with Salesforce or HubSpot, including reporting, data correction, and workflow design.
– Strong commercial contract literacy, including MSAs and SOWs, and how they affect revenue timing, margin, and risk.
– Advanced Excel skills.
– Working knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
– Ability to build a forecast model from first principles.
– Clear written and verbal communication skills.
– Confidence to challenge poor deal structures.
– Willingness to work across time zones with the US commercial team.

– Experience with CPQ, contract lifecycle management (CLM), or revenue intelligence tools such as Clari or Gong.
– Experience in businesses with long enterprise sales cycles and a small number of high-value customers.
– Familiarity with professional services delivery and time-and-materials or milestone-based billing.
– Experience with profitability and resource utilization analysis.
– CA, MBA (Finance), CMA, or equivalent.
– Exposure to US GAAP or ASC 606.
