## About the Role
Capital Group is hiring a Senior Manager, Financial Operations to lead FinOps across the Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) portfolio. The scope includes enterprise platforms, associate tools, and emerging GenAI capabilities.
This role is responsible for improving cost transparency, allocation, and optimization. Working closely with Engineering and Finance, the Senior Manager will track usage, attribute spend, and support disciplined investment decisions.
A core part of the role is building and scaling cost allocation models, unit economics, and FinOps practices that increase accountability across the portfolio. The position also embeds cost awareness into engineering and product decisions and incorporates GenAI cost economics to support efficient AI adoption.
## Key Responsibilities
– Lead FinOps across the ETS portfolio.

## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
– Extensive experience in financial operations, technology finance, or enterprise platforms with broad impact.
– Strong understanding of cost drivers across cloud, SaaS, and end-user technologies.
– Experience establishing and scaling cost allocation models in complex environments.
– Familiarity with AI/GenAI cost models and governance considerations.
– Experience influencing senior leaders and driving data-informed decisions.
– Ability to build partnerships across Technology, Product, Finance, Procurement, and Risk.
– Proven success building or maturing FinOps practices and governance.
– Knowledge of financial controls, vendor management, and licensing models.
