# Sr Finance Analyst
**Location:** Bangalore
## About the Role
This role supports financial forecasting, performance analysis, and decision support for HTS Bangalore. It exists to help SBGs/GBEs and management improve operational and financial results by identifying issues, defining corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement.
The position sits within a broader finance organization across HTS and works closely with Honeywell Corporate Functions. Strong relationship-building and influence are important, as the role partners with local management, site leaders, business leaders, and global finance leaders.
The main focus is to turn financial analysis into action. That includes supporting planning cycles, reviewing monthly performance, and highlighting risks, opportunities, and actions that improve productivity, cost efficiency, working capital, and capital use.
## Key Responsibilities
– Analyze financial performance and provide insights that improve RD&E effectiveness.
– Identify root causes of performance gaps and work with management on corrective actions and improvement plans.
– Partner with finance teams in HTS to deliver standard metrics, updated reports, and management information.
– Support business decisions with financial analysis, including scenario review for labor planning and capital investment decisions.
– Help drive productivity improvements, cost reduction plans, working capital improvements, and capital efficiency.
– Build annual operating plans and forecasts for businesses and LOBs/GBEs in line with the corporate and business calendar.
– Lead monthly financial review cadence with site, business, and global finance leaders.
– Provide regular updates to local and senior finance leadership on forecast performance, risks, and opportunities.
## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– 7+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role supporting R&D or IT operations.
– Proficiency with SAP, Essbase, and Tableau.
– Ability to work independently with sound judgment and appropriate discretion.
– Strong leadership skills and the ability to build collaborative partnerships across functions.
– Strong analytical ability and strategic thinking.
– Ability to influence business decisions using fact-based financial information.
– Excellent time management and organizational skills.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
## Preferred Skills
– CA, ICWA, MBA Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
