Task Description
The role requires an experienced and versatile Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) profile to support and anchor the fundamental elements of cloud governance, FinOps, service portfolio, and enablement within a structured, team-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cloud Governance and Frameworks: Contribute to developing, updating, and structuring cloud principles, policies, and architecture standards. Participate in design reviews and document decisions (e.g., Architecture Decision Records).
* Cloud Service and Portfolio Management: Support the management and structuring of the cloud product portfolio, maintaining service descriptions and lifecycle statuses.
* FinOps and Cost Awareness: Assist with cost governance, tagging/naming guidelines, cost reporting, and identifying optimization opportunities (e.g., rightsizing).
* Cloud Enablement and Team Support: Maintain CCoE documentation, support team onboarding, and contribute to “Cloud University” initiatives like training and FAQs.
* Security and Compliance Support: Collaborate with security leads to translate requirements into cloud guidelines and structure audit evidence.
* Team Collaboration: Actively participate in CCoE meetings, prepare presentations/status reports, and serve as a link between the CCoE and IT teams.
Role Boundaries:
* No application development or technical delivery.
* No project management or Product Owner roles.
* Does not replace the functions of a Cloud Architect or Cloud Engineer.
Technical Skills (L2: Minimum 2 Years Experience)
* Languages: Proficiency in Dutch and French (C1 level); English (B2 level).
* CCoE Knowledge: Understanding of CCoE concepts within enterprise or government contexts.
* Governance: Knowledge of cloud policies, standards, and decision-making frameworks.
* Cloud Platforms: Basic knowledge of public clouds (Azure, AWS, or GCP) including service concepts and cost structures.
* FinOps: Familiarity with cost transparency, tagging, and allocation.
* Security: Conceptual understanding of Identity & Access, logging, data protection, and audit requirements.
* Operational: Experience with service lifecycle management, documentation (wikis, onboarding materials), and preparing decision notes/reports.
