Role Overview:
Coforge is seeking a visionary and strategic partner sales leader to build and scale its Google Cloud Strategic Growth Unit in the US. You will shape and execute the capability vision and go‑to‑market, lead the creation of differentiated offerings and IP on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and drive joint co‑sell motions in tight collaboration with Coforge field teams and Google Cloud’s field organization. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across GCP’s data, AI, application modernization, security, and collaboration stacks; a strong commercial mindset; and a proven record of accelerating growth through innovation, alliances, and Marketplace‑led motions.
Key Metrics:
Revenue: Co-sell Revenue (e.g. TCV, Order booking, pipeline)
Engagement: Joint account growth plan with Partner (e.g. % of Top Accounts)
Efficiency: Joint offerings and market development plan (% Conversion rate)
Positioning: Partner Scorecard, Analyst Engagement, Awards
Key Responsibilities:
1. Capability Vision & Strategy: Define and evolve the strategic direction for Coforge’s Google Cloud business across infrastructure modernization, data & analytics (BigQuery/Looker), AI/ML (Vertex AI, Gemini for Google Cloud), app modernization (GKE/Anthos/Cloud Run), API management (Apigee), security (Chronicle, SecOps), and Workspace transformation. Track emerging GCP ecosystem trends to inform investments and innovation bets. Build and scale global delivery and solutioning capabilities.
2. Offerings & Solutions Development: Lead design of differentiated offerings, blueprints, and accelerators leveraging core GCP services. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are repeatable and scalable. Drive IP creation and reusable assets (assessment frameworks, reference architectures, migration factories, FinOps/GreenOps tooling) to improve win rates and delivery efficiency.
3. Joint Go-To-Market & Field Collaboration: Co-develop joint account plans and sales plays with Google Cloud partner teams and Coforge field teams; operationalize Google Cloud Marketplace as a growth engine; enable private offers and multi-year transactable deals; create thought leadership and POVs; represent Coforge in executive briefings and partner forums.
4. Growth & Business Leadership: Own growth plan and P&L for the Google Cloud unit; drive sourced and influenced revenue; serve as senior solutioning authority on top pursuits; build and lead a high-performing partner‑savvy sales overlay team; establish governance, operating cadences, and performance metrics.
Qualifications & Experience:
20+ years in technology services; 5+ years in leadership roles focused on Google Cloud or multi-hyperscaler alliances with significant Google exposure. Proven success standing up and scaling Google Cloud practices/business units including co-sell engines and Marketplace motions. Strong command of GCP’s ecosystem, field engagement models, and Marketplace transacting. Exceptional leadership, executive presence, and stakeholder management. Preferred: established relationships within Google Cloud field and partner leadership; familiarity with BigQuery, Vertex AI/Gemini, Apigee, GKE/Anthos, Chronicle, and Workspace solution plays.
