# Job Description: Technology Business Management (TBM) Specialist

## About the Role
Konica Minolta is seeking a detail-oriented Technology Business Management (TBM) Specialist to enhance financial management and operational effectiveness within its Information Technology organization. This role focuses on delivering financial transparency across technology investments, budgets, forecasts, vendor relationships, and cost optimization initiatives.

The TBM Specialist will support data-driven decision making by analyzing technology expenditures, engaging in financial planning activities, and partnering with IT leaders to ensure efficient resource management. This position will involve the maintenance of reports and dashboards to track spending and inform strategic decisions.

## Key Responsibilities
– Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial planning activities.
– Analyze IT operating and capital expenditures to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
– Prepare and maintain financial reports, dashboards, scorecards, and executive presentations.
– Collaborate with IT leaders, project managers, and finance teams to monitor spending against approved budgets.
– Assist in analyzing technology portfolio, vendor, software, cloud, infrastructure, and project costs.
– Conduct monthly financial reconciliations and support period-end and year-end close activities.
– Maintain financial and operational data within ERP, budgeting, and reporting systems.
– Support business cases, investment analyses, and technology cost optimization initiatives.
– Develop expertise in TBM principles, IT financial management, and technology performance metrics.
– Participate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

## Required Skills
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
– Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
– Experience with SAP, ERP platforms, budgeting systems, or financial reporting tools.
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
– 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, analytics, or information technology.
