Role Overview
The Technical Project Manager will support execution across FinOps, cloud, and technical enablement workstreams. The role focuses on driving alignment, visibility, and delivery across initiatives involving cloud financial management, infrastructure governance, AI/compute enablement, capacity planning, and operational improvements. The TPM translates strategic goals into actionable plans and coordinates cross‑functional teams across technical, scientific, and business groups.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Execution
Coordinate initiatives across the FinOps and infrastructure roadmap
Maintain project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies
Track actions and ensure timely follow‑up
Governance & Operating Rhythms
Support governance meetings, workshops, and review forums
Manage agendas, materials, communications, and action tracking
Visibility & Reporting
Maintain portfolio‑level visibility into status, risks, and resource needs
Prepare executive‑ready updates, dashboards, and decision‑support materials
Support roadmap and planning activities
Stakeholder Alignment
Facilitate communication across technical, scientific, and business teams
Drive alignment across competing priorities and escalate blockers when needed
Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement improvements to planning, governance, and reporting processes
Qualifications
Experience
5+ years in project/program management, PMO, business operations, or technology operations
Experience coordinating complex technical or infrastructure initiatives
Familiarity with FinOps, cloud financial management, cloud infrastructure, AI/compute environments, or capacity planning
Experience supporting cloud, infrastructure, or digital transformation programs
Skills
Strong project planning, coordination, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Jira and Agile delivery practices
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear plans and updates
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities
