# Tech Finance Specialist

## About the Role

ING is seeking a Tech Finance Specialist to join the Centre of Excellence for Governance and Operational Excellence, within the Tech Finance team.

The team supports governance, operational effectiveness and consistent execution across the CIO Domain. This role contributes to the bank’s Technology and Finance strategy through accurate financial reporting, planning support, cost analysis and efficient purchasing processes.

## Key Responsibilities

– Complete monthly financial close activities, including cash-flow and expense analysis.
– Ensure the accuracy of financial actuals.
– Support, coordinate and consolidate budgeting and forecasting activities.
– Monitor technology costs and identify risks, opportunities and required actions.
– Assist with the preparation of business cases for new initiatives.
– Simplify processes to improve operational efficiency.
– Manage purchase-order processes to ensure accurate accounting of IT expenditure.
