## About the Role
We are seeking a Senior FinOps Specialist to join our client’s international team, known for its commitment to technological innovation and digital transformation. This strategic position focuses on maximizing operational and economic efficiency within the company’s cloud environment, specifically within Microsoft Azure. The specialist will leverage both technical cloud knowledge and high-level financial analysis to influence the organization’s global technology investment strategy.
The role will involve collaborating closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Business teams to promote a FinOps culture while ensuring real-time cost visibility and the development of advanced financial models. The professional will be instrumental in driving initiatives that optimize cloud spending and overall resource management.
## Key Responsibilities
– **Cloud Management and Optimization:**
– Analyze, monitor, and continuously optimize consumption within Microsoft Azure, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency.
– **Integration of FinOps and DevOps:**
– Collaborate with IT and development teams to embed cost governance and best practices within the Azure DevOps software lifecycle.
– **Financial Analysis and Forecasting:**
– Develop budgets, financial forecasts, cost models, and monitor KPIs related to cloud operations.
– **Reporting and Data Visualization:**
– Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI using DAX and Power Query.
– **Governance and FinOps Culture:**
– Implement and advocate for FinOps best practices, ensuring alignment among technology, product, and finance stakeholders.
## Required Skills
– **Experience:**
– 3-5 years in FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, or IT Management Control specifically within Microsoft Azure environments.
– **Tools and Technology:**
– Advanced proficiency in Azure Cost Management and practical familiarity with the Azure DevOps ecosystem.
– **Business Intelligence:**
– Proven experience in developing advanced reports and dashboards in Power BI, with demonstrated expertise in DAX and Power Query.
– **Analytical Skills:**
– Strong capability in budget formulation, cloud expenditure forecasting, and results-oriented quantitative analysis.
– **Languages:**
– Advanced English skills (B2-C1), both spoken and written, for regular interaction with global teams and stakeholders.
## Preferred Skills
– Certification as a FinOps Practitioner.
– Technical knowledge of Azure Consumption APIs and Azure Resource Graph.
– Previous experience with multinational companies or enterprise environments with significant cloud infrastructure consumption.
