# Senior FinOps Financial Analyst
## About the Role
We are looking for a Senior FinOps Financial Analyst to assist our federal customer in establishing robust cloud foundations within the Judiciary. This role will focus on cloud advisory, strategy, and implementation services aimed at enhancing financial operations across various cloud environments. You will work in a remote capacity within the United States, with potential travel to customer sites in Washington, DC.
The primary objective of this position is to provide expert support for the Judiciary’s evolving Cloud FinOps organization. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure financial transparency and drive cost efficiency across all four authorized Cloud Service Providers. This is a strategic role that demands a keen understanding of financial operations practices and their application in cloud management.
## Key Responsibilities
– Support the Judiciary’s Cloud FinOps organization by developing and maturing financial operations practices.
– Design and implement processes for cloud cost management, optimization, forecasting, and accountability.
– Create customized models that align with program consumption patterns.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance financial transparency and drive cloud cost efficiency.
## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
– Extensive experience in Cloud FinOps across multiple cloud providers.
– Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
## Preferred Skills
– Certification in Cloud FinOps.
