Financial Analyst
Location: DFW TX / Remote (Hybrid)
Reports to: SVP, Global CIO
Employment type: Full‑time, individual contributor
We’re looking for an analytical finance professional who partners with IT leadership (CIO, PMO, Platform, Data, Business Systems) to manage program financials during a carve‑out and enterprise transformation. Owns budgeting, forecasting, vendor invoice validation, TSA run‑rate tracking, cost allocation, and financial reporting to ensure disciplined spend, transparent vendor governance, and data‑driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Program financial management — Build, maintain and govern the integrated program budget and forecast for transformation and run operations; track actuals vs. plan and produce monthly re‑forecasts.
Vendor invoice validation & oversight — Review, validate and approve vendor invoices (MSPs, SIs, cloud providers); reconcile invoices to SOWs, change orders and delivery milestones; propose dispute/invoice adjustments as needed.
TSA / run‑rate tracking — Maintain TSA run‑rate models, track transition costs and post‑Day S operating run rates; quantify savings and incremental costs attributable to carve‑out activities.
Cost allocation & chargeback — Implement and reconcile cost allocation model for cloud, platform, and shared services; support FinOps and business chargeback needs.
Financial reporting & dashboards — Produce weekly and monthly financial reports, vendor scorecards, forecast variance analyses and executive‑ready dashboards for steering committee and Finance.
Change order & CR analysis — Quantify schedule, cost and financial risk for proposed change orders; support PMO on financial impact assessments and scenario modeling.
Contract & SOW controls — Maintain contract / SOW tracker, escalate commercial risks, and ensure financial terms (milestones, retainers, termination clauses) are enforced.
Program governance support — Participate in steering committee, Change Control Board and vendor OBRs to present financial status, risks and recommendations.
Continuous improvement & automation — Automate recurring reporting, improve invoice reconciliation processes, and bring rigor to financial controls and forecasting cadence.
Ad hoc modeling & analysis — Provide scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and decision support for leadership on staffing, vendor spend, and platform choices.
Minimum Qualifications
3–6 years of relevant finance, FP&A, program finance, or procurement finance experience supporting technology programs or transformation initiatives.
Strong accounting fundamentals and experience reconciling invoices to contracts / SOWs.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial planning tools and BI/dashboarding (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) preferred.
Comfortable with cloud cost models and basic FinOps concepts (tagging, allocation, cost drivers).
Excellent stakeholder communication skills and ability to present executive‑ready materials.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar; MBA or related advanced degree a plus.
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting carve‑outs, TSA transitions, or PE‑backed transformation programs.
Familiarity with project finance / capitalization rules and cost accounting in technology contexts.
Experience with contract management systems, procurement workflows, or automated invoice reconciliation tools.
Exposure to cloud billing (AWS, GCP, Azure) and vendor commercial models (time & materials, fixed price, ARR).

Reduction in invoice disputes and cycle time for approvals by targeted %.
Delivery of executive steering committee financial dashboard and weekly financial summaries on cadence.
Established cost allocation model for cloud and shared services, reconciled quarterly.
Demonstrable automation of at least one recurring report or reconciliation reducing manual hours.
