# Job Description: IT Financial Management Consultant

## About the Role
As an IT Financial Management Consultant at EY, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital future of leading organizations. You will collaborate with the Technology Strategy & Transformation team to develop innovative IT strategies and execute complex transformation projects. Your focus will be on integrating technology, business, and people to create sustainable solutions, with an emphasis on cloud architectures and FinOps.

You will engage with CIOs and IT organizations to enhance the measurable value of IT, cloud, and AI. This position will allow you to work on strategic topics such as IT budget planning, cost control, and the financial governance of transformation programs. Your insights will contribute significantly to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our clients’ IT performance.

## Key Responsibilities
– Advise companies on managing, optimizing, and achieving transparency in IT costs.
– Support CIOs and IT organizations in making informed management decisions related to digitalization, cloud, and AI.
– Develop KPIs, reporting structures, and governance models for modern IT organizations.
– Analyze cloud and AI cost structures, identify cost drivers, and formulate concrete optimization measures in FinOps and AI financial management.
– Contribute to strategic initiatives such as IT value management and financial oversight of transformation programs.

## Required Skills
– A degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a related field.
– Initial experience in IT Financial Management, Controlling, or IT Performance.
– Technical knowledge and experience in cloud and FinOps environments.
– Proficiency in analytical thinking, cost, consumption, and performance data analysis.
– Strong communication skills in both German and English (minimum C1 level).

– Interest in emerging topics such as AI Financial Management and data-driven cost optimization.
