# Revenue Operations – Product & Services Analyst

## About the Role

The Revenue Operations – Product & Services Analyst provides analytical leadership across a SaaS portfolio, professional services, and FinOps. This role develops the KPIs, dashboards, benchmarks, and financial insights needed to evaluate product health, services performance, engineering investment, cost-to-serve, and profitability.

The position connects operational, commercial, and financial data to help leadership identify performance gaps, prioritize investments, improve cloud economics, and strengthen the overall performance of the SaaS portfolio. The role partners with Product, Engineering, Services, Commercial, Finance, and Cloud Operations teams.

## Key Responsibilities

– Build and maintain an analytics framework covering SaaS products and implementation services.
– Define standardized KPIs, dashboards, benchmarks, reporting methods, data sources, and ownership.
– Analyze ARR, revenue growth, software gross margin, adoption, retention, expansion, usage, bookings, ASP, discounting, and product profitability.
– Evaluate engineering investment, including Engineering-to-Revenue metrics, against revenue growth, product maturity, customer demand, and portfolio health.
– Benchmark product and services performance across products, regions, industries, customer segments, implementation models, and product lines.
– Measure implementation performance, including revenue, backlog, project duration, time-to-value, utilization, staffing, project margin, forecast accuracy, milestones, scope changes, rework, customer readiness, and on-time delivery.
– Analyze services economics and identify drivers of margin erosion, resource inefficiency, scope creep, delivery complexity, and recurring implementation costs.
– Translate complex operational, commercial, and financial data into actionable recommendations for technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
– Partner with cross-functional teams to improve product economics, services performance, and cloud cost efficiency.

## Required Skills

– Approximately 3–5 years of similar experience, ideally in SaaS or FinOps environments.
– Advanced Excel proficiency.
– Experience with data visualization and the ability to build dashboards independently.
– Bachelor’s degree.
– Ability to analyze complex business, operational, and financial data and communicate findings effectively.

## Preferred Skills

– Power BI experience.
– Experience developing business performance metrics, dashboards, reporting, and analytical frameworks.
– Knowledge of revenue, costs, margins, profitability, forecasting, and investment performance.
– Experience with SaaS, financial, and operational analytics, including ARR, revenue growth, gross margin, bookings, ASP, retention, utilization, cost-to-serve, and product profitability.
– Advanced experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or comparable analytics platforms.
– Experience building scalable dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data models.
– Experience with SaaS financial modeling, unit economics, product-level P&L analysis, engineering investment metrics, professional services economics, gross margin analysis, and performance benchmarking.
– Knowledge of Cloud FinOps and SaaS cost management, including cloud infrastructure costs, usage, utilization, unit costs, cost allocation, and optimization opportunities.

## FinOps Responsibilities

– Align cloud infrastructure and operational costs with individual SaaS products and offerings.
– Establish visibility into cost-to-serve, unit economics, and product-level profitability.
– Develop and report cloud cost optimization and performance metrics.
– Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure efficiency, utilization, and gross margins.
– Partner with Engineering, Product, Finance, and Cloud Operations to deliver measurable cost reductions and continuous improvement across cloud deployments.

## Work Arrangement & Compensation

– Remote position.
– No relocation assistance provided.
– U.S.-based salary range: **$89,700–$149,500**.
– Geographic differentials of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary may apply in certain locations.
– Compensation may vary based on experience, education, and skills.
