# Job Description: Financial Operations Analyst
## About the Role
Join our dynamic global Operations team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing financial transparency and optimizing costs across our Fittings & Fixtures Operations division. This position involves collecting, analyzing, and reporting financial and operational data to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with teams in Procurement, R&D, and FP&A across various regions, including the Americas, Europe, and Asia, fostering collaboration and effective month-end execution.
Your work will contribute significantly to the organization’s success in a fast-paced, international environment that values transparency and continuous improvement.
## Key Responsibilities
– **Data Consolidation**: Prepare and maintain monthly reporting packages for global Operations.
– **Procurement Analysis**: Track prices for raw materials, components, and finished goods; monitor procurement savings.
– **Month-End Close**: Create accruals and deferrals, calculate foreign exchange impacts, and prepare management reports.
– **Freight & Cost Review**: Analyze inbound and inter-unit freight variances and identify opportunities for optimization.
– **Forecasting & Budgeting**: Collect and align financial inputs from plants, procurement, and central functions.
– **Standard Costing**: Support the annual standard cost-setting process and maintain system parameters.
– **System Support**: Assist in the rollout and maintenance of automated reporting systems.
– **Cross-Border Collaboration**: Act as an extension of the headquarters, ensuring transparent workflows across regions.
## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Controlling, or Business Administration.
– 1–3 years of experience in controlling (operations, plant, business, or financial controlling).
– Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
– Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and accounting principles.
– Familiarity with SAP (MM/FI) and BI tools (SAP BW, IBM Planning Analytics) is a plus.
– Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
– Strong teamwork orientation and intercultural skills.
– Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
