## About the Role
CVS Health is hiring a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis – Apptio to design, develop, and support digital solutions that enable IT Financial Management, chargeback processes, and IT cost optimization. The role focuses on improving financial transparency, reporting accuracy, and decision-making through scalable Apptio-based solutions.
This position sits within the IT Financial Management team and works closely with business stakeholders, financial analysts, and technical teams. A key part of the role is supporting the monthly IT chargeback process so that IT costs are allocated accurately to the business units using those services.
The position also serves as a technical expert for the Apptio platform, translating business needs into practical solutions, resolving system issues, and identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
## Key Responsibilities
– Design and maintain technical solutions and architecture within the Apptio platform.
– Configure, develop, and enhance Apptio applications, cost models, and allocation processes.
– Collaborate with business stakeholders, financial analysts, and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
– Provide technical guidance and recommend best practices for scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
– Improve system performance, automation, and operational efficiency.
– Integrate Apptio with enterprise systems and data sources.
– Perform testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis to maintain solution quality and accuracy.
– Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, requirements gathering, and stakeholder reviews.
– Identify process improvement opportunities and support technology innovation.
– Support monthly IT chargeback activities, including cost allocations and reporting.
– Create and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and support materials.
– Act as a subject matter expert, mentor team members, and promote best practices.
## Required Skills
– Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
– Demonstrated growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
– Experience leading initiatives and delivering results with minimal supervision.
– Apptio rTBM/A Certification.
– Extensive hands-on experience with the Apptio SaaS platform.
– Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
