# Manager, FP&A – Apptio
## About the Role
This role supports IT Financial Management by designing, developing, and maintaining solutions within the Apptio platform. The position focuses on improving financial transparency, reporting accuracy, cost optimization, and decision-making across the organization.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders, financial analysts, technical teams, and IT Financial Management colleagues to translate requirements into scalable solutions. The role also supports the monthly IT chargeback process by ensuring technology costs are accurately allocated and reported to the business units using those services.
As an Apptio subject matter expert, you will troubleshoot issues, guide technical decisions, improve automation, and contribute to continuous process and platform enhancements.
## Key Responsibilities
– Design and maintain technical solutions and architecture within Apptio.
– Configure and enhance Apptio applications, cost models, and allocation processes.
– Support monthly IT chargeback activities, including cost allocation and reporting.
– Integrate Apptio with enterprise systems and data sources.
– Partner with business, finance, and technical stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
– Provide technical guidance and promote scalable, reliable, and maintainable practices.
– Improve system performance, automation, and operational efficiency.
– Conduct testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis.
– Participate in Agile activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, requirements gathering, and stakeholder reviews.
– Identify process improvement and technology innovation opportunities.
– Maintain technical, process, and support documentation.
– Serve as a subject matter expert, mentor team members, and promote best practices.
## Required Skills
– At least five years of relevant professional experience.
– Extensive hands-on experience with the Apptio SaaS platform.
– Apptio rTBM/A Certification.
– Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
– Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning.
– Experience leading initiatives and delivering results with minimal supervision.

– Develop and maintain Apptio cost models and allocation processes.
– Support monthly IT chargeback activities.

– Improve financial transparency, reporting accuracy, and cost optimization.
– Integrate Apptio with enterprise systems and data sources.
## Compensation & Schedule
– **Schedule:** Full time, 40 hours per week
– **Pay range:** $66,330–$145,860
– **Additional compensation:** Eligible for a bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program
– Actual compensation depends on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations.
