About the Role
Lead the design, build, and optimization of cloud and on‑prem analytics infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Oversee key platforms including Databricks, Power BI, M365, and analytics integrations with enterprise systems.
Guide cloud modernization efforts, including RBAC, identity, governance, networking, monitoring, and cost optimization.
Collaborate closely with teams across IT, InfoSec, cloud engineering, networking, data engineering, and business analytics.
Ensure infrastructure reliability, security, resilience, and performance across hybrid environments.
Manage day-to-day operations of analytics platforms supporting clinical, operational, and strategic needs.
Mentor and lead a small, high-performing team of engineers and administrators.
Contribute to enterprise-level decisions around architecture, modernization, and AI readiness.
Support data privacy, compliance, and secure handling of sensitive data in a regulated environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field.
Required Skills
5+ years of relevant technical experience.
3+ years of formal or informal leadership.
Hands-on technical leadership (not a purely managerial role).
Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Background working with data engineering, analytics, or modern data platforms.
Experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments.
Strong understanding of RBAC, identity governance, and secure access management.
Preferred Skills
Experience in healthcare or regulated industries.
Exposure to EMR platforms (Epic experience highly desirable).
Experience building foundational cloud components for analytics/AI workloads.
Familiarity with DevOps, FinOps, infrastructure-as-code, or automation best practices.
