## About the Role
This position focuses on the financial management of IT services. Its purpose is to create transparency around costs, revenue, and profitability so that informed decisions can be made across the service portfolio.
You will develop budgets, forecasts, business cases, and pricing and calculation models, and support services throughout their full lifecycle. The role works closely with service owners, technical experts, customer management, and controlling, and serves as the main point of contact for financial matters related to IT services.
A further part of the role is to translate technical services into clear business models and support service charging in line with the Technology Business Management (TBM) standard.
## Key Responsibilities
– Build budgets, forecasts, business cases, and pricing/calculation models for IT services.
– Create transparency over costs, revenue, and profitability to support decision-making.
– Analyze service metrics and perform total cost of ownership (TCO) and benchmark analyses.
– Identify concrete optimization opportunities from financial and operational data.
– Translate technical services into understandable financial models.
– Support cost allocation and service charging based on the TBM standard.
– Collaborate with service owners, technical specialists, customer management, and controlling.
## Required Skills
– Business-related or technical education, or relevant professional experience in financial management, controlling, or IT services.
– Strong interest in technical topics and understanding of how IT services are structured and managed economically.
– Experience in cost accounting, calculation, or financial analysis.
– Ability to present complex topics clearly and in a structured way.
– Structured, analytical, and self-directed working style.
– Clear communication and confidence working across different functions.
– Ability to connect business and technical perspectives.
