# Semi-Senior FinOps Engineer

## About the Role

ACL Tecnología is seeking a Semi-Senior FinOps Engineer to support financial governance and cost management across multicloud environments. The role will help improve the transparency and predictability of cloud service spending.

You will contribute to cloud budgeting, consumption analysis, executive reporting, cost optimization, and the development of Cloud Financial Management dashboards. The position involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders and participation in sustainable cloud migration planning.

## Key Responsibilities

– Support cost governance across multicloud environments.
– Contribute to cloud service budget preparation and monitoring with relevant stakeholders.
– Manage the financial analysis of cloud resource consumption.
– Prepare monthly Showback and Chargeback views.
– Support executive cloud governance reporting.
– Identify unused and underutilized resources and recommend corrective actions.
– Analyze cost anomalies and discrepancies.
– Create proactive alerts for budget overruns and atypical spending.
– Track the implementation of recommended optimization initiatives.
– Develop and analyze Cloud Financial Management dashboards.
– Support the automation of FinOps processes and routines.
– Contribute to sustainable migration planning through FinOps best practices.

## Required Skills

– Experience in FinOps, cloud services financial management, Cloud Management, or a related field.
– Experience or knowledge of cost management and optimization in multicloud environments.
– Knowledge of Rightsizing, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Spot Instances, Start & Stop, and Showback/Chargeback practices.
– Experience analyzing costs, preparing budgets, dashboards, and management reports.
– Knowledge of Cloud Financial Management tools and/or cloud platforms.
– Strong analytical ability to identify optimization opportunities and track improvement actions.
– Experience or interest in FinOps process automation and data analysis.

– Monitor unused and underutilized resources.
– Detect cost anomalies, discrepancies, budget overruns, and atypical spending.
– Follow up on optimization recommendations through implementation.
– Assist with FinOps automation and sustainable migration planning.
