# FP&A Senior Manager

## About the Role
We are looking for an FP&A Senior Manager to spearhead Nubank’s efficiency agenda and optimize our global cost structure. This key position involves leading a dedicated Financial Planning & Analysis team focused on cost management. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various business units to instill a culture of financial discipline and high-performance efficiency. Your efforts will be instrumental in guiding strategic investments that support Nubank’s growth while maintaining a streamlined cost base.

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of Nubank’s Global Operating Expenses (Opex) and Capital Expenditures (Capex), influencing over $5B annually. You will operate with a significant degree of autonomy, managing complex scenarios that require alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing a high-performing team, contributing to strategic planning, and cascading tactical initiatives aligned with senior leadership’s vision.

## Key Responsibilities
– Lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles for global Opex and Capex.
– Ensure visibility, discipline, and integrity in financial management, focusing on cost efficiency.
– Drive the adoption of AI and advanced analytics to optimize financial processes and KPIs.
– Translate complex data into strategic insights to inform business decisions.
– Support the team in navigating challenges, managing trade-offs, and ensuring effective alignment.
– Manage multidisciplinary initiatives with consistent exposure to senior stakeholders.
– Contribute to short-term strategy building and translate it into actionable plans.
– Act as a mediator in complex conflicts and advocate for company-wide decisions.

## Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA) is preferred.
– Extensive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related area, with significant leadership experience.
– Proven track record in financial planning and performance management.
– Strong expertise in financial modeling and advanced data analysis, with familiarity in modern analytics tools.
– Experience influencing senior leadership on strategic financial decisions.
– A proactive approach to managing ambiguity and driving cross-functional change.
– Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
