# FP&A Analyst

## About the Role
As an FP&A Analyst at AP+, you will significantly contribute to financial decision-making by providing financial analysis, reporting, and insights. This position supports Finance Business Partners in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reviews, utilizing both financial and operational data to generate actionable insights. You will foster strong working relationships across departments, enhancing the organization’s understanding and management of performance.

Your key mission will be to analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends, and assist in commercial activities. Your work will directly impact business decisions, ensuring that financial strategies align with the company’s profitability objectives.

## Key Responsibilities
– Prepare and report on budgeting, forecasting, and financial business reviews, focusing on profitability drivers.
– Analyze financial and operational performance, identify variances and trends, and translate business activity into financial impacts.
– Provide accurate financial analysis and support commercial agreements and business cases.
– Collaborate with operational teams and Finance Business Partners to meet business needs through practical financial support.
– Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with financial policies, technical accounting, tax, and treasury requirements.
– Deliver clear financial insights and drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.

## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
– Up to 3 years of experience in a finance role.
– CPA or CA qualification or working towards it.
– Proficiency in financial data analysis, with the ability to interpret metrics and provide insights.
– Experience in budgeting and forecasting processes, and effective communication of results.
– Knowledge of cost management, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
– Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams.

## Preferred Skills
– Knowledge of payments technology, IT systems, and financial services.
– Interest in market dynamics and their impact on business performance.
