ProsperOps is seeking a seasoned FinOps practitioner to support and expand our industry-leading offering, Autonomous Discount Management for Azure. In this role, you will partner with both prospects and customers to address complex cloud cost optimization challenges and provide guidance on both strategic and tactical FinOps matters. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our optimization services by working closely with the Product team to develop new capabilities that deliver greater value to our customers. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in FinOps with a strong background in optimization strategies and execution.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Partner with Account Executives to deliver engaging product demos that showcase our technical edge and help close deals with confidence.
Analyze cloud cost optimization opportunities and clearly communicate insights, whether through compelling write-ups or impactful conversations.
Be the go-to expert on Reservations, Azure Spot VMs, and Compute Savings Plans, turning complex concepts into actionable guidance. Azure IAM experience is a plus.
Craft and deliver dynamic demos that make the ProsperOps value shine during sales engagements.
Collaborate with our Sales and Customer Operations teams to answer platform questions and demystify cloud rate optimization strategies.
Team up with our Product Team to brainstorm and build innovative optimization services that help customers save even more.
Scope and configure Savings Analyses to tailor insights to each customer’s unique cloud footprint.
Contribute to feature development and automation efforts that enhance Savings Analysis reports and other key tools.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a FinOps or Engineering role with a cloud service provider, consultancy, or company using Azure at scale
Prior experience as an Analyst or Presales Engineer is highly preferred
Hands-on experience with Azure Cost Management and Billing Tools, 3rd party cloud management platforms, or home-grown applications
Strong computation, writing, and communication skills
Ability to make API calls and run queries to collect and manipulate data. Experience with PowerBI, Azure Synapse, and Command Line is a huge plus
