## About the Role
This position is part of the Ignitis Group Service Center IT team and focuses on improving cloud cost efficiency, automation, and technology resource management. It brings together FinOps, cloud infrastructure, and AI capabilities to help deliver better outcomes across the group.
You will work across IT, finance, and business teams to analyze cloud spending, build cost control processes, and support leadership with financial and technical reporting. The role also includes identifying automation opportunities and applying AI and generative AI solutions to business processes.
A key part of the role is helping ensure that data is handled securely, requirements are met, and AI is used responsibly. The position also supports the group’s broader energy transformation goals.
## Key Responsibilities
– Analyze and optimize cloud costs across Oracle, Azure, and Google Cloud.
– Build and maintain FinOps processes, budgets, and cost control mechanisms.
– Prepare financial and technical reports for management.
– Identify automation opportunities using AI and generative AI.
– Develop, test, and deploy AI models and business process integrations.
– Evaluate the ROI and business value of AI solutions.
– Work closely with IT, finance, and business stakeholders.
– Ensure data security, compliance, and responsible AI use.
## Required Skills
– At least 2 years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, Data Analytics, or AI.
– Practical experience with at least one cloud platform: Oracle, Azure, or Google Cloud.
– Ability to analyze financial data and prepare cost optimization recommendations.
– Experience using Python for data analysis and automation.
– SQL knowledge and the ability to work with large datasets.
– Understanding of generative AI technologies and LLMs.
– English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
## Preferred Skills
– FinOps Certified Practitioner or FinOps Professional certification.
– Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or other AI platforms.
– Experience building RAG solutions.
– Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD processes.
– Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
– Cloud architecture certifications.

## FinOps Responsibilities
