## About the Role
The Finance Operations Analyst will play a key role within the Finance Operations team at Zoox, which serves as the hub for company-wide financial activities. This position focuses on reviewing purchase requisitions, ensuring compliance with both U.S. GAAP and Zoox’s accounting policies while working closely with budget owners in various departments, including Engineering, Operations, and General Administration.

In conjunction with the FP&A lead analysts and the Accounting team, the Analyst will support critical financial processes by helping to maintain accurate records and by validating that expenditures align with budgetary constraints. The role involves not only transactional oversight but also supporting the month-end close processes and providing essential reporting to Finance leadership to track committed spending.

## Key Responsibilities
– Review and process purchase requisitions to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
– Collaborate with budget owners and FP&A analysts to validate coding and approvals.
– Support month-end closing activities, including open purchase order cleanup and accrual data generation.
– Build and maintain recurring financial reports to track commitment against budget.
– Utilize SAP S4, SAP Ariba, and other internal systems to analyze spend data and deliver actionable insights.

## Required Skills
– Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and procure-to-pay processes.
– Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
– Proficiency in SAP S4 and SAP Ariba.
– Excellent judgment for issue resolution and escalation.
