About the Role
We are seeking a results‑driven Financial Operations Analyst with strong expertise in cloud cost optimization, anomaly detection, and data‑driven insights. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical FinOps environment, enjoys solving complex cost‑efficiency challenges, and can translate data into clear, actionable intelligence for business and technical stakeholders.
You will work across multi‑cloud environments, support cost‑governance initiatives, and deliver high‑impact dashboards and reporting that drive measurable savings and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the delivery of FinOps reporting, dashboards, and executive insights across multiple client environments.
– Conduct continuous anomaly detection, identifying cost spikes, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.
– Validate and quantify potential savings through rightsizing, scheduling, rate optimization, and spend governance.
– Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, automated reports, and SQL‑driven insights to improve cost visibility.
– Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in regular review sessions, presenting findings on top spend areas and optimization actions.
– Maintain structured documentation and project governance using Jira and Confluence.
– Support the development and enhancement of savings trackers, cost models, and FinOps best‑practice frameworks.
Skills & Competencies:
Cloud & FinOps: AWS, Azure, GCP; Cost Optimization, Anomaly Detection, Rightsizing, Tagging Strategy, Unit Economics, Budgeting & Forecasting, Showback/Chargeback
Data & Reporting: Power BI, DAX, SQL, Snowflake; Advanced Excel; Python scripting for automation; Dashboard architecture & data storytelling
Professional Skills: Stakeholder engagement & cross‑functional collaboration; Agile/Scrum methodologies; KPI monitoring & executive reporting; Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
Qualifications & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information & Communications Technology (Cum Laude).
Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner; Azure Fundamentals; FinOps Certified Practitioner; FinOps Certified FOCUS Analyst; SQL, Excel, Windows Server, and IoT (various accredited courses)
