## About the Role
PointFive is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to own a named account list and territory across the Western US. This is a foundational role on an early go-to-market team, focused on winning complex enterprise opportunities in large accounts.
The position exists to help enterprises improve cloud and AI efficiency at scale. You will work across finance and technical stakeholders while helping PointFive strengthen its enterprise presence in the region.
This role partners closely with founders, product, and marketing. It also plays a direct part in shaping the territory approach, sales motion, and customer feedback loop.
## Key Responsibilities
– Own and execute a territory plan for Global 2000 accounts, including ICP identification, account mapping, and quarterly pipeline and logo targets.
– Build 3–5x pipeline coverage through outbound prospecting, executive referrals, events, and hyperscaler co-sell and marketplace channels.
– Run multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles with CFO/Finance, FinOps, Platform/Cloud Engineering, and Security stakeholders.
– Build TCO/ROI business cases, lead POCs, and manage procurement, legal, and security processes.
– Maintain strong forecast discipline, define next steps, and provide weekly updates with 90%+ commit accuracy.
– Work with founders, product, and marketing to turn customer feedback into roadmap input.
– Secure lighthouse logos and support references, case studies, and expansion playbooks.
– Keep Salesforce data current, qualify inbound and outbound leads, and meet or exceed quarterly bookings and KPI targets.
## Required Skills
– Must be based in the Western US, anywhere west of the Mississippi.
– 7+ years of full-cycle enterprise SaaS closing experience, with a track record of net-new logo wins.
– 3+ years of selling into cloud, infrastructure, FinOps, DevOps, Platform, or Engineering personas.
– Demonstrated performance at 100–150%+ attainment on $100K+ ACV deals with multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
– Ability to speak credibly with technical buyers about AWS, Azure, and GCP concepts such as FinOps, RI/SP, tagging, Kubernetes cost, and unit economics.
– Strong command of enterprise sales processes, including multi-threading, mutual close plans, MEDDICC or equivalent, and deal mechanics.
– Ability to generate pipeline from scratch through targeting, outreach sequences, events, or partnerships.
– Clear written and verbal communication, high emotional intelligence, and a bias for action.
## Preferred Skills
– Experience with hyperscaler marketplaces and private offers, including co-sell relationships.
– FinOps certifications or active participation in the FinOps community.
– Existing relationships with CIOs, CFOs, or VP-level Platform/Engineering leaders at F500 or Global 2000 companies.
– Startup experience in Seed to Series B environments, including 0→1 and 1→N GTM stages.

– Build TCO/ROI business cases for cloud and AI efficiency initiatives.
– Speak knowledgeably about FinOps concepts, including RI/SP, tagging, Kubernetes cost, and unit economics.
– Support customer decisions around waste reduction and measurable efficiency gains.

– Base salary: $145,000–$175,000
– OTE: $290,000–$350,000 with uncapped commission
