## About the Role
PointFive is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive for the US to own a named account list and territory across the Western US. This is a foundational role on an early go-to-market team, focused on closing complex enterprise deals and helping position PointFive as a preferred partner for organizations working to improve cloud and AI efficiency at scale.
The role is centered on building and advancing pipeline across Global 2000 accounts, leading multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and developing strong business cases for enterprise buyers. You will work closely with the founders, product, and marketing teams, while also engaging with CFO, Finance, FinOps, Platform/Cloud Engineering, and Security stakeholders.
## Key Responsibilities
– Build and execute a territory plan for Global 2000 accounts, including account mapping, ICP identification, and quarterly pipeline and logo targets.
– Create 3–5x pipeline coverage through outbound prospecting, executive referrals, events, and hyperscaler co-sell and marketplace channels.
– Run complex, multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles with finance, technical, and security stakeholders.
– Develop TCO and ROI business cases, lead POCs, and manage procurement, legal, and security reviews.
– Maintain accurate forecasting, strong stage hygiene, clear next steps, and weekly updates with 90%+ commit accuracy.
– Work with founders, product, and marketing to translate customer feedback into roadmap input.
– Help secure lighthouse logos and support the creation of references, case studies, and expansion playbooks.
– Keep Salesforce up to date, qualify inbound and outbound leads, and deliver against quarterly bookings and KPI targets.
## Required Skills
– Must be based in the Western US, anywhere west of the Mississippi.
– 7+ years of full-cycle enterprise SaaS closing experience.
– Proven success winning net-new enterprise logos.
– 3+ years of experience selling to cloud, infrastructure, FinOps, DevOps, Platform, or Engineering buyers.
– Track record of 100–150%+ attainment and managing $100K+ ACV deals.
– Strong understanding of enterprise sales methodology, including multi-threading, mutual close plans, MEDDICC or an equivalent framework, and deal management.
– Ability to build pipeline from scratch through targeting, outbound sequences, events, or partnerships.
– Clear written and verbal communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and a bias for action.
– Credibility with technical buyers and familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP concepts such as FinOps, RI/SP, tagging, Kubernetes cost, and unit economics.
## Preferred Skills
– Experience with hyperscaler marketplaces, private offers, and co-sell relationships.
– FinOps certifications or active involvement in the FinOps community.
– Existing relationships with CIOs, CFOs, or VP-level Platform/Engineering leaders at F500 or Global 2000 companies.
– Startup experience in Seed to Series B environments, including 0→1 and 1→N GTM stages.

– Build business cases using TCO and ROI analysis.
– Speak to cloud financial management concepts including FinOps, RI/SP, tagging, Kubernetes cost, and unit economics.
– Engage with FinOps stakeholders during enterprise sales cycles.
– Support customers evaluating cloud and AI efficiency outcomes.

– Base salary range: $145,000–$175,000
