For our client, we are seeking a Corporate Vice President – Senior Finops Developer Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $130,000 – $180,000 annually
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated solutions to monitor and optimize AWS spend
Identify and implement cost-saving strategies across cloud resources
Design and implement FinOps tooling and data pipelines
Automate cost allocation and tagging enforcement processes
Build scalable dashboards and reporting systems for cost insights
Establish cloud cost governance frameworks and policies
Partner with Finance to align cloud usage with budgets
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
3-5+ years of experience in FinOps, cloud engineering, or cloud cost optimization
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, pricing models, and billing architecture
Experience with cost tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, Harness CCM, Apptio, or CloudCheckr
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, or Excel
Strong understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems
