## About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of cloud engineering and FinOps. It focuses on supporting projects that use public, private, and hybrid cloud services while helping teams improve cloud cost control, deployment practices, and operating efficiency.

You will work closely with production and project teams, as well as client architects and cloud experts, to introduce FinOps practices and support the gradual transfer of knowledge. The position also involves helping define and automate both technical and organizational processes.

A key part of the role is to strengthen cloud cost visibility and support informed decision-making through reporting, analysis, and ongoing awareness of cloud developments.

## Key Responsibilities

– Help establish FinOps practices within a project, service, or the wider organization.
– Track and report cloud financial data through dashboards and KPIs for operational teams and leadership.
– Analyze cloud spend to identify optimization opportunities.
– Support cloud cost reduction through tagging practices, scripting, and cost tool configuration.
– Define and automate technical and organizational processes.
– Work with production and project teams on automated, secure deployment processes.
– Maintain ongoing awareness of developments in public and private cloud services.
– Support client architects and cloud experts and contribute to progressive knowledge transfer.
– Train and raise awareness among teams on cloud cost management topics.

## Required Skills

– Strong cloud expertise combined with a solid understanding of financial considerations.
– Hands-on knowledge of major cloud providers and cloud cost management tools.
– Understanding of cloud pricing models.
– Strong knowledge of finance and accounting.
