# Business Controller Insights
## About the Role
As a Business Controller Insights at Action, you will play a critical role in translating data into actionable insights that drive performance and growth across the organization. This position operates within a fast-paced international environment, focusing on providing financial insights to support various business units. Your analyses will enable informed decision-making about costs, performance, and strategic initiatives, ultimately impacting Action’s ambitious growth agenda.
Collaborating closely with Finance Business Partners and cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure that management receives timely and relevant reports, facilitating effective oversight of financial operations. This role leverages both your financial expertise and analytical skills, emphasizing a hands-on approach to financial practices and decision support.
## Key Responsibilities
– Develop and enhance management reports and dashboards.
– Conduct financial analyses within Group Business Control (GBC).
– Guide the budget and forecast processes, including period closings.
– Collaborate intensively with Finance Business Partners to assess business performance.
– Propose improvements in financial processes and reporting methods.
## Required Skills
– Completed university degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Analytics.
– 3-5 years of relevant experience in a controlling role.
– Proficient with Business Intelligence tools, preferably Power BI and SAP Analytical Cloud.
– Strong knowledge of financial administration and experience in period close processes.
– Familiarity with GBC processes and the retail sector.
– Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
