## About the Role
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst plays a crucial role in delivering insights into Mizuho America’s financial performance. This position focuses on IT financial reporting, providing detailed views across IT sectors and expense types to support senior management’s strategic discussions and regular management meetings.

The role requires collaboration with various corporate and business functions, necessitating a seasoned professional approach to create management reports and analyses that support executive leadership in understanding performance metrics, expense trends, and resource consumption. The ideal candidate will also contribute to evolving financial reporting processes through automation and AI integration.

## Key Responsibilities
– Develop and manage IT financial reporting, providing insights for senior management.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive analysis for executive leadership.
– Support strategic discussions through detailed views of expenses across IT towers.
– Help define and execute enhancements to financial reporting processes.
– Utilize analytical skills to interpret financial data and inform decision-making.
– Assist in the development of presentations and reporting materials for management.

## Required Skills
– 3-5 years of experience in business planning, budgeting, or financial analysis.
– Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
– Experience in project planning and management.
– Process-oriented mindset with a focus on designing and improving procedures.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
– Clear and concise communication skills across all organizational levels.
– Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with OneStream Planning/Essbase is advantageous.

## Benefits
– Competitive base salary ranging from $93,000 – $150,000, based on skills and experience.
