This is the role and main tasks
As our FinOps Specialist, you will play a critical role in optimizing cloud spend, improving financial governance, and driving cost efficiency across Microsoft Azure environments. You’ll collaborate with engineering, finance, and procurement teams to align cloud investments with business objectives.
More specifically, you will:
Analyze Azure usage patterns and implement cost optimization strategies (e.g., reservations, spot instances, savings plans)
Develop and maintain cloud budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Implement tagging strategies, cost allocation models, and actionable dashboards using Azure Cost Management and Power BI
Governance & Reporting: Implement tagging strategies, cost allocation models, and produce actionable dashboards using tools like Azure Cost Management, Power BI, and other FinOps platforms.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud spending with business goals
Establish FinOps best practices and leverage automation for cost reporting and anomaly detection

Who we are looking for
We are searching for a detail-oriented, analytical FinOps professional with strong Azure expertise and a passion for cost optimization. You thrive in a cross-functional environment and can translate technical insights into financial impact.
Moreover, you:
Have 3+ years of experience in cloud financial management or FinOps roles
Bring strong knowledge of Azure services, pricing models, and cost management tools
Possess financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation
Are proficient in Power BI, Excel, and scripting for automation
Hold relevant certifications (FinOps Certified Practitioner, Microsoft Azure certifications) would be a plus
