Key role and Responsibilities:
In Scope
Provide SME capability around AWS Cloud Platform, with hands on experience across a range of key AWS technologies, focusing heavily on foundational capabilities like account provisioning, identity, policy and networking.
Be able to facilitate between projects and engineering, to drive the best technical outcome that delivers projects within their timelines.
Review Detailed designs to ensure it aligns with engineering best practices
Work with non project stakeholders to understand platform requirements (ie, Finops, Security), and deliver them within the team’s capacity.
Define, document and drive Devops principles across engineering teams
Champion devops practices and build the reusable capabilities to simplify the adoption of engineering standards and our devops toolchain
Hands on devops engineering, to uplift and enhance our centralized pipeline, and then advocate and support teams to adopt
Provide role model behaviour for strong Cloud Engineering and Devops practices
Enable other engineers to learn and become more effective on the delivery of project outcomes
