# Apptio FinOps Dashboard Analyst

## About the Role

This role supports Technology Business Management (TBM), cloud financial management, and executive reporting. The primary focus is on ApptioOne, Cloudability, FinOps analytics, dashboard development, and cloud cost optimization across cloud and infrastructure environments.

The analyst will manage Apptio platforms, maintain cost models and allocation structures, and build executive dashboards and reports using Apptio and Power BI. The role also involves analyzing spend across AWS, Azure, and GCP, tracking budgets and savings initiatives, and identifying opportunities to improve technology cost efficiency.

Working closely with Finance, Cloud, Infrastructure, and leadership teams, this person will turn financial and operational data into clear insights for business reviews and strategic planning.

## Key Responsibilities

– Administer and support Apptio TBM, ApptioOne, and Cloudability, including cost models, mappings, allocations, and integrations.
– Design and maintain executive KPI dashboards and reports in Apptio and Power BI.
– Analyze cloud spend across AWS, Azure, and GCP to identify cost optimization opportunities.
– Track budgets, actuals, savings initiatives, cost avoidance, and commitment utilization.
– Develop automated trackers, forecasting models, KPI scorecards, and infrastructure performance reports.
– Support chargeback and showback models, including financial hierarchies and service cost structures.
– Validate and reconcile financial, cloud, CMDB, and operational data to ensure reporting accuracy.
– Partner with Finance, Cloud, Infrastructure, and leadership teams to present insights and recommendations.

## Required Skills

– 5–7 years of experience in FinOps analytics, technology cost management, and dashboard development.
– Hands-on experience with Apptio, ApptioOne, and Cloudability.
– Strong knowledge of FinOps practices and the Technology Business Management (TBM) framework.
– Experience with cloud cost management across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
– Understanding of cost transparency, cost allocation models, and chargeback/showback.
– Experience in cloud cost governance, budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimization.
– Proficiency in Power BI, dashboard development, executive reporting, and KPI framework design.
– Advanced Excel, data analytics, and data visualization skills.
– SQL, data modeling, and data validation experience.
– Knowledge of ETL concepts and data lakes/data warehouses.
– Experience with trend analysis, financial data reconciliation, and data governance.
– Ability to communicate actionable insights to technical teams and business leadership.
– Mandatory skill: AWS Automation Services.
